2012 Mixbooks

I did photo books for our mothers last year, and I told myself I'd work on the next ones along the way so I'd be ready for Mother's Day this year... didn't happen, but I was still able to throw a couple together and get them ordered in time! I didn't put as many "stickers" in these books, but I had a lot more pictures to arrange. I still like how they came out.

I finally got around to putting a photo book together for myself of Leo. I gave the grandmother's one on Mother's Day from Mixbook and I like it so much better. I did Shutterfly this time because they sent me a coupon code for a free book. it was a headache! the program is so much slower than Mixbook and the website settings are awful as far as being able to see all the controls on the page. I do my books from scratch, so if ya use the pre-designed books I'm sure it's better. I like the embellishments at Mixbook better, and they seem to have a lot more options for effects and stuff, too. but I got it done and it was less expensive 'cause of the coupon, so it's all good. I'm so excited and can't wait to get it!! :)

I should probably start working on 2011 so I have something waiting when I get another offer like this one. I just have so many pictures now that I'm gonna probably need to break it up into 2 books!

for Mother's Day, I put Leo's pictures from last year in photo books from mixbook for his Mé and Grandma :)
